KRIS-TV is the NBC-affiliated television station for South Texas that is licensed to Corpus Christi. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on VHF channel 13 from a transmitter west of the city in rural Nueces County. Owned by the Evening Post Publishing Company, the station is sister to low-power Independent K47DF and low-power Telemundo affiliate K68DJ. All three stations share studios on South Staples Street in downtown Corpus Christi.
